At AMICA CAMP, Children and Teens Practice New Social Skills Each Week with Age-appropriate Activities. AMICA Camp runs on weekdays for eight consecutive weeks from June 19th to August 11, 2017. The AMICA camp day runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Camp professionals know that all children—particularly first-time campers—may need a few days to adjust to the typical camp day. One-week campers are just getting “warmed up” as their friendships are forming; they start looking forward to camp just as their week comes to an end. Because AMICA is designed to help children learn social skills that often improve over time, we strongly encourage a minimum two-week enrollment to allow children to practice pro-social behavior and become accustomed to the camp routine. Our goal is to give all AMICA campers a successful camp experience, and social skills for life.
